This Privacy Policy explains how Pay With Us - FZCO ("Company", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the Hi-G platform, including our websites, mobile applications, interfaces, and related services (collectively, the "Platform").
We are committed to respecting your privacy and handling your information in a way that is transparent, secure, and aligned with high international standards.
By accessing or using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy and agree that we may process your information as described below. If you do not agree with this Policy, you should not use the Platform.
This Privacy Policy applies to:
the Hi-G website(s);
the Hi-G mobile and web applications; and
any other online services where this Privacy Policy is displayed or referenced.
It does not apply to:
third-party websites, services, or applications that may be linked from the Platform;
third-party wallets, exchanges, or protocols you choose to use; or
data stored directly on public blockchains (see Section 7).
Those third parties have their own privacy practices, which we encourage you to review.
We collect different types of information to provide and improve the Platform. Some of this information may identify you directly or indirectly ("Personal Information").
We may collect Personal Information that you choose to provide, including:
Account and profile information:
name, username or handle, display name;
email address, phone number;
profile photo, biography, and other details you choose to include.
Identity and verification information (where applicable):
date of birth, nationality or country of residence;
government-issued ID documents (e.g. passport, ID card, driver's license) and related data;
proof of address (e.g. utility bill, bank statement);
photographs, videos, or live selfies used to verify identity.
Financial/transactional details (off-chain):
bank account information or partial card details when you use integrated payment services;
billing address and billing-related contact details;
records of purchases, subscriptions, or other transactions processed through third-party providers.
Communication and support:
content of messages you send to us (e.g. support requests, feedback);
content you post or send via the Platform's chat or community features, to the extent they are stored or logged;
responses to surveys or questionnaires.
You can choose not to provide certain information; however, this may affect your ability to use some features of the Platform (for example, identity verification may be required to access card or fiat services).
When you use the Platform, we automatically collect certain information about your device and usage, such as:
Device and connection information:
device type, operating system, browser type and version;
device identifiers (such as device ID, advertising ID, or other unique identifiers);

interactions with in-app notifications, emails, and other messages we send;
crash reports, performance metrics, and diagnostics.
Cookies and similar technologies:
small data files (cookies) placed on your device, as well as web beacons, pixels, SDKs, and similar tools that help us recognize you and understand how you use the Platform.
(See Section 5 for more details.)
Because Hi-G uses blockchain technology and offers financial and automation features, we may collect:
Wallet information:
public wallet addresses you connect or use with the Platform;
labels or nicknames you assign to wallets;
basic metadata to link your account with one or more wallets for usability (for example, to show balances or transaction history within the interface).
Transaction-related information (on the Platform):
details about transactions you initiate via the Platform's interface (e.g. token type, amount, time, transaction hash);
internal references, routing rules, or automation flows you set up, including community or treasury rules.
Risk and security data:
internally generated risk scores or flags related to transactions, wallets, or account behavior;
records of security incidents (e.g. failed login attempts, suspected fraud).
Important: Public blockchain transactions are recorded on distributed ledgers that are not controlled by us and are generally accessible to anyone. While transaction data may involve or link to Personal Information in context, we do not consider purely on-chain public ledger entries we do not control to be Personal Information under our direct responsibility. See Section 7 for more details.
We may generate or collect information that does not identify you personally, such as aggregated statistics about usage, anonymized analytics, or de-identified datasets. We may use and share such non-personal information for any legitimate purpose, provided it does not re-identify you.
We collect information from several sources:
We collect information you provide when you:
create or update an account;
complete identity verification or KYC steps;
connect wallets or configure automation rules;
participate in communities, chats, or marketplace activities;
contact us for support or send feedback;
respond to surveys, forms, or promotional offers.
We collect information automatically via:
cookies and similar technologies on our website or web app;
SDKs and logging within our mobile and desktop applications;
server logs and security monitoring tools.
These technologies help us understand how the Platform is used, improve performance, and maintain security.
We may receive information about you from:
Service providers, such as identity verification partners, payment processors, or card program managers;
Analytics providers, which help us understand usage patterns and app performance;
Community partners or affiliated entities, if they invite you to use Hi-G or connect via our integrations.
We use such information in accordance with this Privacy Policy and any additional disclosures we provide at the time of collection.
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
Creating and managing user accounts and profiles;
Enabling core features such as chat, community management, wallet connectivity, transaction routing, and marketplace functionalities;
Processing transactions and requests you initiate, including interactions with third-party payment or card services.
Displaying balances, transaction history, and relevant information within the interface;
Executing or relaying your instructions and automation rules via compatible smart contracts and third-party providers;
Enabling groups and communities to coordinate, share information, and manage shared treasuries or initiatives.
Sending service-related communications such as confirmations, security alerts, and important updates;
Providing customer support and responding to inquiries;
Informing you about new features, changes, or relevant content.
You can manage your communication preferences as explained in Section 10.
Analyzing usage patterns and feedback to enhance user experience and design;
Tailoring content, features, or recommendations based on your activity and preferences;
Conducting research, testing, and development of new functionalities and services.
Monitoring for and investigating fraudulent, suspicious, or abusive activities;
Preventing unauthorized access, protecting against security breaches, and ensuring the integrity of the Platform;
Enforcing our Terms of Service, community guidelines, and other applicable policies.
We may use automated tools, algorithms, or scoring systems to assist in detecting unusual or high-risk behavior (for example, transaction monitoring for possible fraud or misuse). These tools are designed to enhance security and are combined with human review where appropriate.
Conducting identity verification and checks that may be required by our partners or by applicable rules (for example, for certain financial or card features);
Keeping records and documentation as required for audit, tax, or compliance purposes;
Responding to lawful requests and legal processes, including from regulators and law enforcement, where we are compelled or permitted to do so;
Protecting our rights, property, and the safety of users and the public.
In some situations, we may request your specific consent to use your information for a particular purpose (for example, when sending certain types of marketing communications or when enabling optional integrations). Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time via your account settings or by contacting us (see Section 10), though this will not affect prior processing already performed.
We use cookies and similar technologies to provide, secure, and improve the Platform.
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. They allow websites and applications to recognize your device and remember certain information about your visit.
We may also use other technologies like web beacons, pixels, and SDKs that work similarly to cookies.
We use cookies and similar technologies to:
keep you signed in and maintain your session;
remember your preferences (such as language or display settings);
understand how you navigate and interact with the Platform;
measure and improve performance;
support security features and detect misuse.
Some cookies are necessary for the Platform to function; others are used for analytics or optional features.
Most browsers allow you to control cookies, including:
blocking certain types of cookies;
deleting cookies already stored; and
setting preferences for future cookies.
If you choose to block or delete cookies, some features of the Platform may not function properly or may be less personalized.
You can usually find cookie management options in your browser's settings. For mobile apps, your device's operating system may provide additional controls.
We treat your information with care and do not sell your Personal Information to third parties for profit. We may share information in the following circumstances:
We work with trusted third-party service providers that perform functions on our behalf, such as:
cloud hosting and infrastructure;
payment processing and card program management;
identity verification and compliance tools;
analytics, performance monitoring, and error tracking;
customer support and communication services.
These providers may have access to Personal Information as needed to perform their functions but are contractually obligated to:
use it only for the purposes we specify; and
protect it in a manner consistent with this Privacy Policy and applicable safeguards.
In some cases, we may collaborate with community partners, organizations, or affiliates (for example, when groups or entities onboard their communities onto Hi-G). Where relevant and appropriate:
we may share limited information (such as account identifiers, participation metrics, or aggregated reports) to enable those partners to manage their communities or programs;
we may share data within our corporate group (affiliates and subsidiaries) to support operations, development, and compliance.
We do not share more information than is reasonably necessary for the intended purpose.
We may disclose information if we reasonably believe it is necessary to:
comply with any law, regulation, or legal process;
respond to lawful requests, such as subpoenas, court orders, or inquiries from regulators;
enforce our Terms of Service or other agreements;
protect the rights, property, or safety of the Company, our users, or the public;
detect, prevent, or address fraud, security, or technical issues.
If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, restructuring, financing, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. In such cases, we will take reasonable steps to ensure that any new entity continues to respect this Privacy Policy or notifies you of any material changes.
We may share your information with third parties when you explicitly ask us to or provide your consent, for example when:
you connect a third-party application or service to your Hi-G account;
you participate in a joint promotion or integrated feature where data sharing is clearly explained.
Hi-G enables you to initiate transactions and interact with smart contracts on blockchain networks. It is essential to understand how these networks handle data.
When you perform a transaction on a public blockchain (for example, sending cryptocurrency or interacting with a smart contract):
details such as your wallet address, the recipient's address, the amount, transaction hash, and other metadata are recorded on a public ledger;
these entries are generally permanent and immutable — once confirmed, they cannot easily be changed or deleted;
anyone with access to the blockchain can view such transactions and may analyze them.
We do not control these public ledgers and cannot delete or modify information stored on them.
In some contexts, a blockchain address may be linked to an individual or entity, especially if that address is publicly associated with an identity. However:
purely on-chain transaction data stored on public networks is not under our direct control;
while we may collect and display certain transaction data to you within the Platform for convenience, the underlying ledger remains public and cannot be altered by us.
You should carefully consider what you share or link to your blockchain addresses, knowing that this information may become publicly observable and enduring.
Our responsibility under this Privacy Policy primarily covers:
information we collect and store in our own systems;
interfaces and tools we provide to help you interact with blockchains.
We cannot erase or undo data that has been recorded on a blockchain. Where you exercise privacy rights (such as deletion), we will apply them to the data we control, but we may not be able to affect data already written to public ledgers.
We take the security of your information seriously and use reasonable measures to protect it.
We implement technical and organizational safeguards, which may include:
encryption of data in transit and at rest, where appropriate;
access controls and authentication procedures to limit data access to authorized personnel;
network and infrastructure security measures, such as firewalls and intrusion detection;
regular monitoring, logging, and review of system activity;
internal policies, training, and confidentiality obligations for staff.
While we strive to protect your information, no system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data or the Platform.
You also play an important role in keeping your data safe:
use strong, unique passwords for your accounts;
keep your login credentials and any security codes confidential;
securely store your wallet private keys, seed phrases, and backup codes — never share them with anyone, including us;
promptly notify us if you suspect unauthorized access to your account or any security issue.
If we learn of a security incident that affects your information, we will take appropriate steps to investigate and, where required, notify you and relevant authorities.
We retain Personal Information only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, or as otherwise required or allowed by applicable rules.
In general:
we keep your account and profile information for as long as your account is active;
we retain transactional and usage records for a period that allows us to operate the Platform, maintain accurate records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations;
when data is no longer needed, we will delete it or anonymize it so that it no longer identifies you.
In some cases, we may retain certain information for longer periods if:
we are required to do so by law, regulation, or contractual obligation (for example, certain financial or audit records);
we need it to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims;
we have other legitimate business interests that are not overridden by your rights and interests (for example, to prevent fraud or maintain security records).
If you close your account or request deletion:
we will remove or anonymize Personal Information that we no longer need;
we may retain limited information as required for compliance, record-keeping, or security reasons;
data recorded on public blockchains cannot be deleted by us (see Section 7).
We want you to understand and be able to exercise control over your Personal Information.
You may have the right to:
access the Personal Information we hold about you; and
correct or update inaccurate or incomplete information.
Much of this can be done directly through your account settings. If you need additional assistance, you can contact us (see Section 13).
You may request that we delete your Personal Information in certain circumstances, such as where it is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected.
We will review and respond to your request, and where deletion is appropriate:
we will remove or anonymize your Personal Information in our systems;
we may retain certain information as required for legal, compliance, or security reasons;
blockchain data already recorded on public ledgers cannot be deleted by us.
In some situations, you may request that we:
restrict the processing of your Personal Information (for example, while we verify the accuracy of the data); or
object to certain uses of your information, particularly where processing is based on our legitimate interests and you believe your rights override those interests.
We will consider your request and balance your rights with our legitimate needs and obligations.
Where technically feasible and where applicable, you may request a copy of certain Personal Information in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format, and ask that we transmit it to another service provider.
We may send you emails or notifications about:
service updates and important information (which you generally cannot opt out of without disabling your account); and
optional marketing communications about new features, programs, or opportunities.
You can opt out of marketing communications at any time by:
using the "unsubscribe" link in emails; or
adjusting your notification preferences in your account settings.
Opting out of marketing does not affect service-related communications.
To exercise your rights or ask questions about your data, you can contact us using the details in Section 13. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
The Platform is not intended for use by children.
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your country, to create an account and use the Platform.
We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from children under 18.
If we become aware that we have collected Personal Information from a child who is not old enough to use the Platform:
we will take reasonable steps to delete that data; and
may disable the associated account.
If you believe that a child has provided us with Personal Information in violation of this Policy, please contact us promptly.
Because we operate globally and work with international service providers, your Personal Information may be stored and processed in countries other than your own.
These locations may have different data protection rules than your jurisdiction. Regardless of where your data is processed:
we will treat your Personal Information in accordance with this Privacy Policy; and
we will take appropriate steps to ensure that any cross-border transfers comply with applicable requirements and include suitable safeguards.
By using the Platform, you consent to the transfer of your information to countries where we or our service providers operate, subject to these protections.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in:
our practices;
our services; or
applicable requirements.
When we make material changes, we will:
update the "Last updated" date at the top of this Policy; and
take reasonable steps to inform you, such as by email or an in-app notification.
We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically so you stay informed about how we handle your information. Your continued use of the Platform after changes become effective indicates your acceptance of the updated Policy.
If you have any questions, concerns, or requests regarding this Privacy Policy or our data practices, you can contact us at:
Email: legal@hi-g.io
We will do our best to respond and address your questions in a timely and respectful manner.
By using Hi-G, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy and agree that we may handle your information as described above.
